The Core Ultra 5 model with a 512GB SSD is ready for purchase, while the higher-specced Core Ultra 7 models, featuring either a 512GB or 1TB SSD, are set to launch on March 12th.

Here’s a breakdown of the three MSI Claw models and their prices:
– $699: Core Ultra 5 / 512GB SSD
– $749: Core Ultra 7 / 512GB SSD
– $799: Core Ultra 7 / 1TB SSD

Preorders for all three models are available on Newegg, and they come with additional perks such as a Skull and Bones standard edition game code and a free one-month Xbox Game Pass subscription. Best Buy is also offering the MSI Claw for purchase, with shipments expected by April 4th.

MSI introduced the Claw at CES 2024, positioning it in the portable PC market alongside competitors like the Steam Deck, Asus ROG Ally, and Lenovo Legion Go. Notably, the MSI Claw is the first device to feature Intel’s Core Ultra processors. Running on Windows, it boasts a seven-inch, 1080p, 48–120Hz variable refresh rate (VRR) LCD display, an Intel Arc graphics chip with eight Xe-cores, a 53Wh battery offering two hours of battery life, and Hall effect triggers and joysticks to prevent stick drift. Additional features include a power button with a fingerprint sensor, a microSD slot, and a Thunderbolt 4 port.
