Volvo EX30 Ultra Twin Motor Performance

The Volvo EX30 Ultra Twin Motor Performance is a game-changer in the world of electric vehicles, boasting impressive performance figures that rival even the most performance-oriented models on the market. With its twin electric-motor arrangement generating a whopping 315 kW and 543 Nm of torque, this all-electric crossover is capable of reaching 0-100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds, setting a new standard for acceleration in Volvo’s lineup.

During rigorous testing, the EX30 lived up to its claims, sprinting to 100 km/h in an astonishing 3.69 seconds, outpacing formidable rivals like the Audi RS6 Avant Performance. Its overtaking acceleration is equally impressive, with lightning-fast times of 1.31 seconds from 100 to 120 km/h and 1.67 seconds from 120 to 140 km/h.

The EX30’s stopping power matches its acceleration prowess, thanks to a set of large ventilated brake discs and aerodynamically-designed wheels wrapped in high-performance Goodyear rubber. During emergency braking tests, it achieved consistently impressive results, with an average stopping distance of 44.46 meters from 100 km/h.

While its performance is exceptional, the EX30 also delivers impressive efficiency, with a fuel consumption rate of 20.8 kWh over a mixed-use 100 km route. Although slightly higher than Volvo’s claimed figure, it still offers a commendable all-electric range of 319 km when fully charged.
