Ducati Celebrates Racing Triumphs with Limited Edition Panigale V4 and V2 Models
Ducati, the renowned Italian motorcycle manufacturer, is commemorating a year of racing success with the unveiling of special edition Panigale V4 and V2 sports bikes. The exclusive models pay tribute to Ducati’s victories in various championships, including Álvaro Bautista’s World Superbike championship, Nicolò Bulega’s World Supersport title, and Francesco Bagnaia’s MotoGP world championship.
These limited edition motorcycles draw inspiration from the Desmosedici GP bikes ridden by Bagnaia, Jorge Martín, and Marco Bezzecchi. Additionally, special versions dedicated to Bautista’s Panigale V4R and Bulega’s Supersport Panigale V2 are included in the collection. The designs are influenced by the distinctive yellow liveries showcased at the Misano MotoGP and WSBK rounds.
To maintain exclusivity, each replica will have a limited production run, with specific quantities for each rider. The collection includes 263 Bagnaia Panigale V4S units, 219 Bautista Panigale V4S units, 111 Bulega Panigale V2 units, 189 Martín Panigale V4S units, and 72 Bezzecchi Panigale V4S units.
Key features of these special editions include a single-seat configuration, a billet aluminum steering plate with a laser-engraved production number, and a dedicated key and animation for the TFT dash. Each motorcycle comes with a certificate of authenticity and a bespoke bike cover. For display purposes, the bikes will be delivered in a wooden crate with specialized graphics.
All Panigale V4 models are based on the Panigale V4S, priced at £27,995. Despite being derived from the racing-oriented Panigale V4R, the Panigale V4S versions feature a nine-disc dry clutch, homologated Akrapovič silencer, adjustable billet aluminum Rizoma foot pegs, and a GPS module for lap time monitoring. Carbon fiber components, such as the rear exhaust manifolds, alternator cover, rear mudguard, and front brake ducts, enhance the bikes’ lightweight and high-performance characteristics.
The Bulega Panigale V2 model receives modifications like Akrapovič racing silencers, contributing to a 2.5% increase in power and torque and a significant 5kg reduction in weight.
