Nearly 250 incredible bikes are gearing up for the ride of their lives at a colossal motorcycle auction taking place later this month at Birmingham’s NEC. Hold on to your helmets, because this event is about to take you on a wild, two-wheeled journey you won’t soon forget!

Iconic Auctioneers Presents: The Classic Motor Show at the NEC

Iconic Auctioneers, the maestros of magnificent motorcycle events, are putting the pedal to the metal at the Classic Motor Show on November 12. This isn’t just any old auction; this is the mother of all auctions! With a jaw-dropping lineup of 245 lots valued at over £1.5 million, it’s safe to say that this is the biggest sale in the history of this iconic auction house.

Henry Cole’s High-Octane Treasures

Oh, but the fun doesn’t stop there! Two of these magnificent machines belong to none other than the TV’s very own “Shed and Buried” star, Henry Cole. Cole’s garage gem collection includes a 1961 Dresda Triton 750cc, believed to have been used as an early race bike. Then there’s the 2012 Norton Commando 961 SE Café Racer, a beast built especially for the TV presenter. The twist? It’s never seen the light of day, never tasted the tarmac, and never roared down a single lane. It’s a virgin, folks, and it’s going to need a bit of a wake-up call before it can hit the road. Iconic says it has never even been started. Well, the first ride is going to be a memorable one, that’s for sure!

Ducati Delights: The Ferrari of Motorcycles

But wait, there’s more! Get ready for a spectacular lineup of Ducatis, featuring a 1991 Ducati 851 SP3, a 1993 Ducati 888 SP0, and a 1997 Ducati 916 SPS homologation special. These magnificent machines were part of a collection owned by Jeff Fosker of Fosker Ferrari Services, the UK’s oldest independent specialist Ferrari dealer. That’s right; it’s not just a motorcycle auction; it’s a Ferrari-flavored two-wheel delight. This collection is one of the UK’s biggest private Ducati collections ever to hit the auction block.

Mark Bryan, Motorcycle Maestro at Iconic Auctioneers, Says…

Mark Bryan, the Motorcycle Manager at Iconic Auctioneers, has this to say: “I am delighted to bring our largest ever motorcycle sale to the NEC this year. There is a fantastic selection of bikes of all makes and models with prices to suit all budgets, from ‘No Reserve’ to £250,000. Without a doubt, this selection of bikes will attract worldwide interest.”

So, if you’re a motorcycle enthusiast, a collector, or just looking for some two-wheeled eye candy, clear your calendar for the Classic Motor Show at the NEC on November 12. Whether you’re in it for the thrill of the bid or simply want to ogle at the stunning machines, this event is the place to be.
